All genres and styles welcome, beginner to experienced,

Ramshackle Collective is a community of local (and not so local!) musicians, writers, poets, artists, comedians, creatives… We meet in the Ten to One bar – 276 Philip Lane, London, N15 4AD, every Tuesday evening. Hosted by Wobbie Wobbit, an experienced songwriter/performer and comedy/performance workshop tutor.

You will be able to share your original comedy sets/songs/poems/spoken-word/writing and (within the limitations of a small venue!) any creative project you would like to share. A unique mashup of gig/open mic/workshop. We aim to nurture a friendly, creative space where the lines between audience and performer, and performance and workshop, are blurred, and a good night out is had by all!

New performers can gain experience with invaluable stage-time, seasoned performers can try out new material and gain feedback in whichever areas they would like to focus on – and be inspired by fresh, new, creativity from newer performers as well as chipping in with their wisdom!

Open to all, as performer or supportive audience member. Any creative discipline is welcome, even if it is just to discuss your ideas with like-minded people! Introverts welcome, and if you are too shy to perform yourself but would still like to share your work then I, or someone else, can read/present it. (Though help is there for you to overcome your shyness and perform!) Extroverts equally welcome and everyone in between!

Ten to One Bar

Ten to One is a great little neighbourhood cocktail bar and restaurant with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

What caught my attention was the way they took over a betting shop, kept the betting shop frontage (it even has the same posters in the windows as when it was a William Hill), and just went with that and made it their theme; I relate very much to that way of working creatively!

You can see some photos of the shabby-cool interior on google maps photos.

Get Involved

Please share with any local Haringey Creatives, especially performers of original material. But really anyone you think would be interested. Out-of-towners are also welcome to join the online group, but bear in mind that the meetings/gigs are in London N15. But who knows what collaborative opportunities will arise from networking with fellow creatives?! 18 months in now and I can say that we draw people from all over!
